Kansas State University is home to many leading scholars. More than 60 of our faculty are, or have been named, University Distinguished Professors, which is a lifelong honor bestowed by the Provost on those who have made outstanding contributions to their field.
In addition, charitable contributions support a number of outstanding faculty members. In 2011, more than $2 million was donated for endowed chairs, with an additional $6.5 million committed. An appointment to an endowed chair is another great honor given to dozens of top K-State faculty.
